Whole is best!!!!

Choose whole grains such as whole wheat bread or pasta, brown rice, quinoa, oats ; healthy starches like beans, sweet potatoes, corn.

Basmati rice, couscous are healthier options (than your regular white rice) and there are whole grain types as well. 

Limit white bread, white rice. 

Depending on your location, you may have access to white wholewheat bread/ flour.
